pARTicipate! An arts and culture celebration: Showcasing Metro Atlanta's Best

ATLANTA, Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- From November 18 through 20, more than 100 organizations will join together for pARTicipate! An arts and culture celebration, a three-day extravaganza showcasing Atlanta's world-class arts and culture scene. Organized by The Brand Atlanta Campaign, the Metro Atlanta Arts & Culture Coalition (MAACC), Atlanta PlanIt.com and the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau/Cultural Tourism (ACVB), the celebration will be an unprecedented opportunity for the residents of and visitors to Atlanta to sample the diverse array of arts, culture and heritage institutions in the metro area.

The pARTicipate! celebration, part of The Brand Atlanta Campaign, will include:

- Special offers at participating arts and culture venues
- Live performances at arts and culture venues throughout metro Atlanta
- Exclusive events at art galleries, studios and heritage organizations
- Special performances at Atlantic Station
- Themed visual art excursions on the MARTA sponsored pARTicipate! Road
Show
- Restaurant and hotel packages

A special feature of the three-day celebration is the pARTicipate! Road Show, sponsored by MARTA, the official provider of public transportation for pARTicipate! An arts and culture celebration. The Road Show will be a series of themed tours on MARTA buses of various Atlanta galleries and museums departing from Atlantic Station on November 18 and 19. Residents can enter to win Road Show tickets on AtlantaPlanIt.com, the official Web site of pARTicipate!, and through citywide radio and television contests.
